We successfully tested heat recovery from the Krimich slag heap in 2012. We planted greenhouse strawberries with the use of sophisticated heat pumps and air-handling systems in the winter. We planted hydroponic strawberries in coconut fibre substrates and a computer managed their proper nutrition and irrigation (our agronomist only helped the computer).
